Jesse is a Solicitor in the firm's property and commercial team.
Jesse assists clients on a variety of commercial matters including reviewing and drafting commercial contracts, company incorporation and governance, shareholders agreements and the sale and purchase of businesses.
Jesse also advises on all aspects of property law, including residential conveyancing, refinancing, subdivision and property development, property due diligence and commercial leasing. He also assists clients with estate and succession planning matters including reviewing wills, enduring powers of attorney and trust management.
Jesse is client focused. He enjoys working with clients to understand their goals and to provide practical advice that helps to set them up for long-term success.
Jesse grew up in Timaru and attended Victoria University of Wellington for the first two years of his legal studies before moving to Christchurch to complete his study at the University of Canterbury. Jesse graduated with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts (majoring in political science). Prior to joining TODD & WALKER Law, Jesse worked for a general practice law firm in Christchurch working across property, commercial and estate planning matters.
Outside of the office Jesse has an active lifestyle, he enjoys getting out to the coast to surf, playing golf and running.
