Welcome to the team - Mackenzie Adams

Recently joining our litigation team as a Solicitor, Mackenzie specialises in family law and criminal defence. Mackenzie works closely alongside family law Principal, Louise Denton to provide advice on all manner of family and relationship property matters including parenting disputes, contracting out agreements (pre-nups) and separation agreements. Mackenzie also has a particular interest in estates and trust law with a focus on trust disputes and claims against estates.

Mackenzie is a Legal Aid registered supervised provider and is also able to represent clients in the District Court across a range of criminal matters.

Mackenzie grew up in Queenstown and Alexandra before making the move to Auckland to attend high school. Motivated to move back to the south, Mackenzie studied at the University of Otago and graduated with degrees in both law and the arts. Mackenzie spent the first stage of her legal career working for a large firm in Invercargill and is excited to have made the move back to Queenstown and to join the TODD & WALKER Law team.

When she is not at work Mackenzie can be found helping on the family farm in Southland, and spoiling on her beloved Miniature Schnauzer puppy, Cooper.
