Ben is one of TODD & WALKER Law's Associates in the environment law, resource management and civil litigation team.
Ben has appeared in hearings on resource consent applications and District Plan submissions before the Queenstown Lakes District Council, appeals before the Environment Court and Judicial review proceedings before the High Court. He has also assisted Graeme Todd on a number of large, high-profile developments within the Queenstown Lakes District. Ben provides advice to clients on resource management, planning matters and appeals. Ben has worked with Michael Walker on defending prosecutions under the Resource Management Act and on several High Court judicial review applications.
Ben also assists Michael with civil litigation and dispute resolution matters, including debt recovery, breaches of contract, and building disputes.
Born and raised in Auckland, Ben moved to the South Island to study law at the University of Otago. Ben joined TODD & WALKER Law after his graduation and has developed a varied skill set and expert knowledge in the resource management, environmental law and civil litigation fields.
Ben has many strong ties with the regional community and in his spare time enjoys classic Central Otago pastimes such as golf and skiing.
