Ben is a Law Graduate in TODD & WALKER Law’s Queenstown office.
Ben works closely with Principal Michael Walker and Associate Ben Gresson as part of the civil litigation team. He assists with a broad range of dispute resolution matters including debt recovery, construction and building disputes and breaches of contract.
Ben also assists Principal Graeme Todd with resource management and local planning matters, including assisting with the preparation for hearings on resource consent applications, District Plan submissions and appeals in the Environment Court.
Ben grew up in Cambridge in the Waikato and studied at Otago University for five years where he graduated with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Geography and a minor in GIS. Prior to his role with TODD & WALKER Law, Ben spent some time living and working in the UK before making the move to Queenstown.
Ben is currently undertaking the Professional Legal Studies Course and will be admitted to the bar mid-2023.
Ben enjoys a challenge, especially when it comes to working through complex issues of a case and being able to provide accurate advice to clients.
Ben is a keen outdoorsman, enjoying all the Central Otago has to offer including tramping, fishing, skiing, golf and mountain biking.
